Job Title: Media Sales Executive
Salary: £30,500 basic OTE: £54,500 (uncapped commission and bonuses)
Location: London Office, One Tudor Street EC4Y 0AH
Hours of work: Full-time (35 hours per week). Flexible working options are available.
Reporting to: Sales Manager / Commercial Director (temporary reporting line)
Premier is looking for a talented and commercially driven Media Sales Executive to join our Commercial team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced media sales professional who enjoys winning new business, building strong client relationships and developing advertising and sponsorship solutions that deliver results. Premier reaches audiences across radio, digital, print, podcasts and live events through some of the UK's most trusted Christian media brands. You will play an important role in growing our commercial income by introducing new organisations to Premier, developing existing accounts and identifying opportunities across our expanding media portfolio.
Role Overview
As Media Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating advertising and sponsorship revenue, with a particular focus on radio, while developing opportunities across Premier's wider digital, print, podcast and integrated media portfolio.
You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and identifying opportunities through to pitching, negotiating and closing business. You will then maintain ownership of the client relationship, working closely with Premier's internal teams to ensure campaigns are successfully planned, delivered and reviewed.
This is a hands-on commercial role for someone who is confident opening doors, understanding client objectives and translating those needs into effective media solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new advertising and sponsorship revenue across Premier's media portfolio, with a particular focus on radio.
- Proactively identify, research and approach new business prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client objectives and develop appropriate advertising, sponsorship and integrated media solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and confidently close business.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through cross-selling and longer-term partnerships.
- Manage the client relationship throughout the campaign lifecycle, from initial brief through to delivery and post-campaign review.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are accurately briefed and delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline using Premier's CRM, ensuring opportunities, activity and forecasts are kept up to date.
- Work towards agreed individual and team revenue targets.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Has
- Proven experience in media sales advertising or sponsorship sales ideally including radio.
- A strong track record of winning new business and generating revenue
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM platforms effectively for pipeline management, account tracking, forecasting and sales administration; HubSpot experience would be an advantage.
- A good understanding of how different media channels can work together to meet client objectives.
- The ability to manage campaigns from pitch to delivery
- A proactive, organised and target-driven approach
- The ability to work as part of a team
Note: The post-holder will work in a Christian environment - it will be necessary for the post-holder to have respect for the Christian faith and its values and be in sympathy with our organisational aims.

It Would Be a Bonus If You Have
- Direct experience in radio sales
- Experience selling multi-platform campaigns across digital, print, or sponsorship
- An understanding of Premier’s audience and Christian mission
