Senior Media Sales Executive
Hybrid Office – Midlands Location – Salary £42,000 + Uncapped OTE
My client… is a prestigious media business with a strong heritage in publishing as well as a growing portfolio of digital and print advertising products. The environment is commercially focused, with a clear emphasis on revenue generation and performance. Due to exciting growth, a new role has arisen for an experienced Media & Advertising Sales specialist.
This is a revenue-focused sales role within an established publishing business, selling advertising solutions across a portfolio of B2B print titles and digital media products.
Key Skills
- Proven ability to sell advertising across both print and digital platforms, including magazines, websites, and e-newsletters.

Role Scope
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Generating and growing advertising revenue across an assigned portfolio.
- Developing new business opportunities alongside account management activity.
- Selling multi-platform advertising solutions across print and digital channels.
- Engaging with business owners and senior decision makers across a range of sectors.
- Managing a personal sales pipeline and consistently delivering against revenue targets.
- Closing commercial deals and contributing to overall team performance.
Candidate Requirements

- Proven experience in media and advertising sales.
- A track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong new business development capability (not purely account management).
- Confidence engaging with senior decision makers.
- A commercially driven, resilient, and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a performance-led, KPI-driven environment.
- Experience within a publishing sales environment would be beneficial.
Package
- Basic salary up to £42,000 (dependent on experience).
- Uncapped commission structure.
- On-target earnings up to £80,000 in year one.
- Additional bonus and incentive schemes.
