About Non-Billable
Non-Billable is a fast-growing independent media brand covering the UK legal industry, with a particular focus on City law firms and the commercial landscape they operate in.
We report on major deals, high-stakes cases, legal tech developments and the strategic moves shaping the Big Law market. Our mission is to deliver sharp, accessible and engaging journalism that modern lawyers actually want to read.
Alongside our editorial output, we work with law firms, legal tech companies, education providers and other businesses on sponsorships, advertising and commercial content partnerships.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced, proactive Media Sales Manager to join the team.
You’ll take ownership of the sales process, from identifying prospects and opening conversations through to developing proposals, negotiating terms and closing deals. You’ll sell partnerships across our website, newsletter and podcast, including advertising, sponsorship and sponsored content.
Working directly with the founder, you’ll build a consistent pipeline of new business while developing relationships with existing partners and securing renewals.
This is a hands-on role in a small, growing business. It would suit someone who enjoys winning new clients, can work independently and wants to make a visible contribution to the growth of a specialist media brand. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape our commercial offering as well as sell it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
