Media Sales Partner
About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Media Sales Partner to build a long-term commercial partnership with Meri & Rime.
This is not a conventional employment role. We are looking for someone who wants to operate as a true commercial partner: bringing their media sales expertise, relationships, ideas, and network, while working closely with our team to grow revenue together.
Rather than a fixed salary structure, the partnership will be based primarily on revenue sharing, with an attractive share for the Media Sales Partner. The goal is to create a model where both sides benefit directly from the growth they generate together.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow advertising and media revenue opportunities for Meri & Rime.
- Identify and approach potential advertisers, brands, agencies, sponsors, and commercial partners.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with media buyers, agencies, brands, and decision-makers.
- Create new commercial opportunities across our media platforms, content, audience, events, partnerships, and other relevant products.
- Develop creative and commercially attractive advertising packages in collaboration with the Meri & Rime team.
- Take ownership of the sales process from prospecting and pitching through negotiation, closing, and relationship management.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into effective media and partnership proposals.
- Identify opportunities for sponsorships, branded content, campaigns, strategic partnerships, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
- Use your existing network and industry relationships to open doors and generate qualified opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the Meri & Rime team on proposals, campaigns, pricing, positioning, and delivery.
- Continuously explore new revenue channels and innovative ways to monetise our audience and media assets.
- Track the sales pipeline, opportunities, proposals, and closed business.
- Contribute ideas and market intelligence that can help shape Meri & Rime's commercial strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Partnership Model
This opportunity is structured around shared revenue rather than a traditional salary-and-commission employment model.

The exact commercial structure will be agreed together based on experience, network, contribution, responsibilities, and the opportunities the partner brings.
Our intention is to create a model where:
- You grow the business → Meri & Rime grows → your share grows.

Long-Term Vision
We are looking for a partner who wants to build a long-term commercial relationship with Meri & Rime.
The ideal person will see this as an opportunity to become an important part of our commercial growth — bringing their expertise and relationships while working with us to develop new revenue streams, larger clients, and bigger partnerships.
This is a partnership opportunity for someone who wants to build.
How Success Will Be Measured
Success will be based primarily on:
- Revenue generated.
- Quality and value of commercial partnerships.
- Growth of the client and advertiser network.
