Advertising Sales Executive

EnergyNews.biz is growing, and we are looking for an Advertising Sales Executive to bring the energy transition’s leading companies in front of our audience. The role is commission-based and fully remote, so you can work from anywhere in the world.

About EnergyNews.biz

EnergyNews.biz is an independent B2B media platform covering the energy transition: hydrogen, energy storage, small modular reactors, grids and renewables. Since 2021, we have built one of the most senior audiences in energy media. 72,904 professionals read our newsletter every week, 59% of them leaders and executives, and our reporting has been cited more than 100 times by the International Energy Agency and in peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Reviews Materials.

Together with our community and learning platform EnergyCircles.biz, we help energy companies put their expertise in front of the engineers, executives, and investors who build, buy, and fund the energy transition.

The role

As our Advertising Sales Executive, you will grow our advertising and sponsorship revenue. You will sell a proven, clearly priced portfolio from our Media Kit 2027 to energy companies, technology suppliers, event organizers, associations and agencies around the world.

This is a freelance, commission-based role with flexible hours. It suits an experienced media or B2B sales professional who wants to earn well by working with some of the most interesting companies in energy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
