You will be the customer-facing media expert for an assigned portfolio, bringing together insight, commercial thinking, and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
What does a great Media Solutions Manager do?
- Lead customer discovery to understand business priorities, hiring challenges, target audiences, market context, and measures of success.

- Use performance data, market intelligence, and customer feedback to identify opportunities, solve problems, and turn insight into practical action.
- Own the strategic direction of assigned media activity from intake through planning, activation oversight, performance review, and renewal recommendations.
- Partner with Media Trading and Media Analytics to set clear goals, KPIs, and reporting requirements, monitor performance, and agree on corrective action where needed.
- Create alignment across customers, Customer Success, Trading, Analytics, Operations, Sales, and Product, making ownership, decisions, and next steps clear.
- Provide quality assurance across the assigned media portfolio, ensuring strategies, plans, and activity are accurate, commercially sound, and aligned with media objectives.
- Build persuasive media plans and business cases that balance customer outcomes, efficient investment, and sustainable commercial value.
- Demonstrate strong commercial and operational discipline across the assigned media portfolio, ensuring effective governance and accountability throughout media planning and delivery.
- Lead or contribute to customer WIPs, media reviews, QBRs, and major presentations, making complex media and data concepts easy to understand.
- Share feedback, learning, and best practice to improve the quality and consistency of work across the wider team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
