Director - Car Sales & Client Services

At SLSHOP, we are passionate about classic Mercedes-Benz and dedicated to delivering excellence. Founded by enthusiasts, we have built a world-class reputation as the go-to destination for classic Mercedes-Benz restoration, servicing, parts store and vehicle sales. Our 50,000 sqft facility in Stratford-upon-Avon is home to an exceptional team who work in an exceptional culture and share a deep appreciation for these iconic cars.

Join us and work on the world’s most iconic classic Mercedes-Benz cars with a team that values precision, pride, and people.

We are now launching 911 Shop, bringing the same specialist approach to the Porsche 911. Two brands, a workshop full of extraordinary cars and a steady stream of stories to tell means our media team has more to capture than it has hours in the day. That is where you come in.

The role

You will join our media team to execute: editing content, uploading it to our websites and social channels, and capturing footage to brief. You will work across SLSHOP and 911 Shop, directed by our Marketing & Media Lead.

Our content strategy, style and direction are already clear and working. We are not looking for someone to reinvent them. We are looking for someone who wants to learn how we do things, do them well and consistently, and add capacity to a team that has more opportunity than time.

This is a development role. It suits someone early in their career with solid editing skills, a good eye, a strong work ethic and the attitude to take direction and grow with the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Is this role right for you?

To be clear from the start:

This role is about capacity, not reinvention. The creative direction is set by the Marketing & Media Lead. Your job is to execute it to a high standard, at pace.

You will be busy and hands-on. Most of your week is capturing, editing and publishing, not planning strategy.

Ideas are welcome once you know how we work. Earn your understanding of the brands, the cars and our customers first.

If you want to learn from people who are good at this and help a respected business tell its story, you will thrive here. If you are looking to take over the creative lead from day one, this is not the role for you.
