Our client is an award-winning agency working with a range of FMCG, Retail and Food brands, connecting integrated marketing strategy with effective, audience-first delivery.
The Media Strategist
The Media Strategist is the glue of the company, working with senior leadership, as well as planning, activation and audience behavioural specialists to lead integrated strategy across media, partnerships, content, data and product, for existing clients and new business pitches.
Key responsibilities
- Operate as the heart of the business, develop insight-led media and communications strategies across existing and prospective clients across a range of sectors
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team to develop strategic frameworks and planning approaches to provide clear direction for client teams, whilst identifying audience, category and behavioural insights that unlock opportunities for client growth
- Work with the wider team to contribute meaningfully to new business pitches, backed by solid insights and strategy, identifying opportunities to grow accounts and help unlock other opportunities for the agency across existing clients
- Ambassador strategy best practise, being the ‘go-to’ agency-wide, ensuring quality and effectiveness, developing strong relationships with clients, media owners, research partners and specialist teams

We’re looking for
- A Strategist or Junior Strategist within an agency who has experience working with teams to challenge client briefs and find the central thread across all marketing touchpoints
- New business experience, having worked with the wider business to increase current client scopes, as well as play a central part in new business pitches
- A great storyteller who can translate client briefs into cross channel marketing campaigns
- A solid marketeer, with an understanding of the full marketing process and how media, creative and experience, fit into the mix in relation to audiences and creating impact based on behavioural-led insights
