Freelance/Consultant Medical Affairs Manager
9-Month Contract
UK-Based (Field-Based)
Territory: UK & Benelux, Finland
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs professional to support the launch of an innovative therapy across the UK and selected European markets.
This is a field-based position, with approximately 70% of activities focused on the UK, alongside engagement with key stakeholders across BeNeLux and Finland.
The successful candidate will play a key role in scientific engagement, medical education, and launch execution, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support the successful introduction of a specialist therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support medical strategy and product launch activities across assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and relevant external stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality scientific exchange and medical education initiatives.
- Gather and communicate medical insights to internal teams to inform strategic decision-making and execution.
- Support medical congresses, advisory boards, and other scientific events.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, compliance requirements, and industry regulations.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Affairs Manager, Medical Science Liaison (MSL), or in a similar Medical Affairs role.
- Strong scientific background, with the ability to communicate complex clinical data effectively.
- Previous product launch experience within the UK pharmaceutical market.
- Oncology experience is highly desirable; candidates with backgrounds in Rare Disease or Specialty Medicine will also be considered.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple markets, with flexibility to travel as required.
