Medical Centre Manager

Location: The Doctors Marshlands | Christchurch

Role: Full-Time Leadership

Are you an experienced operational leader who thrives on building great team cultures, streamlining workflows, and making a real impact?

The Doctors Marshlands is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for a proactive, people-first Medical Practice Manager to take the reins and shape the future of our clinic!

You are never on an Island

Be the driving force of the practice

Rewarding leadership role

The Role

As our Practice Manager, you will be the operational backbone and team leader of our clinic. You will work closely with clinicians, nursing, and administrative staff to ensure seamless daily operations, high standards of patient care, and a supportive team environment.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • You’re Never on an Island: Enjoy the best of both worlds—the tight-knit, community feel of a local practice with the backing and camaraderie of a strong regional network. You’ll work alongside experienced peer managers across the South Island who have your back.
  • A Real Mandate to Innovate: This isn't just about keeping the status quo. We are actively inviting fresh ideas, streamlined processes, and progressive leadership to elevate both staff culture and patient care.
  • Stability Meets Growth: Located in a vibrant, fast-growing area of Christchurch, you’ll lead an essential community hub backed by the stability, resources, and career pathways of a leading healthcare brand.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
