Manager, Medical Communications (eCOA)

As the Manager, Medical Communications (eCOA), you will serve as a strategic partner across Science, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership teams, translating complex clinical research, eCOA methodologies, and performance data into impactful scientific communications. This highly visible role combines scientific expertise, thought leadership, strategic storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen Clario’s market position, support business growth, and advance the adoption of patient-centered clinical trial solutions.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the development and execution of scientific communication strategies that support Clario’s eCOA business objectives and market leadership.
- Create, edit, review, and manage scientific publications, white papers, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations, capabilities materials, and other scientific collateral.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Clinical Science, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure consistent and impactful scientific messaging.
- Serve as the primary liaison between eCOA Science and key internal stakeholders, including commercial, medical, and executive teams.
- Develop compelling thought leadership content that highlights Clario’s expertise in eCOA, Clinical Outcome Assessments, and clinical trial innovation.
- Support scientific research initiatives and contribute to publication strategies that advance organizational goals.
- Conduct clinical and scientific research activities to support publications, presentations, posters, conference abstracts, and other external communications.
- Manage and coordinate eCOA Science event strategies in collaboration with marketing and corporate events teams.
- Translate complex scientific, operational, and performance data into clear business insights and data-driven narratives.
- Analyze key performance indicators and marketing metrics and present findings to leadership through impactful storytelling and executive-level communications.
- Identify and drive new opportunities for scientific communications, thought leadership content, and market visibility initiatives.
- Support social media and external communication activities related to eCOA Science thought leadership.
- Develop and implement communication processes, best practices, and workflows that improve efficiency and consistency within the eCOA Science team.
- Lead and support ad hoc projects focused on knowledge sharing, scientific awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Present scientific findings, communication strategies, and business insights to senior leadership and stakeholder groups.

What We Look For
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Clinical Research, Healthcare, Psychology, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, healthcare, CRO, or related life sciences environments.
- Experience within the eCOA, Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA), patient-centered research, or clinical technology space is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing scientific publications, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations, white papers, or other scientific communications.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial methodology, clinical research processes, and the role of eCOA within drug development.
- Experience supporting marketing campaigns, sales enablement initiatives, and scientific messaging strategies.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and communicate findings effectively to senior leadership audiences.
- Strong scientific writing, editing, proofreading, and content development skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to scientific, commercial, and executive audiences.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of global healthcare and clinical research environments.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.
