Medical Counter Assistant : UK Pharmacy London

  • Supported the day-to-day operation of a UK community pharmacy and developed practical understanding of UK pharmacy processes and professional standards.
  • Assisted with prescription handling and dispensing-related activities under appropriate supervision.
  • Supported pharmacy counter operations and responded to patient and customer enquiries professionally.
  • Provided appropriate OTC medicine guidance and health-related information within the limits of the role.
  • Assisted with stock-related activities and supported the availability of medicines and pharmacy products.
  • Maintained a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling pharmacy-related information.
  • Communicated effectively with pharmacists, colleagues and patients in a busy working environment.
  • Maintained confidentiality when handling patient and pharmacy information.
  • Adapted quickly to the UK pharmacy environment, procedures and computerized pharmacy systems.
  • Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and willingness to learn new processes and systems.
