Medical Device Programme Lead
📍 UK | Remote or hybrid | Permanent
I'm working with a small, ambitious sponsor company with a late-stage drug-device combination programme. They need someone to take full ownership of the infusion device, reporting straight to the Chief Solutions Officer.
Design and manufacturing sit with external partners. You're the one holding it all together and making the calls.
What you'll be doing:
- Owning the device programme end to end: plan, budget, risk and decisions
- Holding design and manufacturing partners to scope, and challenging their testing and documentation
- Keeping the design history file and traceability tight
- Delivering device content for US and EU combination product submissions
- Getting verified devices, kits and training materials to trial sites on schedule
- Owning the software side, including SaMD lifecycle and cybersecurity

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
