About Us

At TOAST, we believe experience is everything.

We’re an innovation-led creative studio working across AI, AR/VR, immersive experiences, gaming, experiential activations, connected commerce, and film/VFX.

We hire for mindset first. Curiosity, craft, collaboration, and that spark that pushes ideas further — these matter more to us than perfect CV alignment. If you bring clear thinking, calm leadership, and a drive to deliver work people actually feel, we want to hear from you.

TOAST partners with global brands across technology, entertainment, FMCG, automotive, and healthcare, shaping work that blends design, storytelling, and emerging tech into unforgettable experiences.

We Want

The Medical Director serves as TOAST’s senior medical and scientific lead, providing strategic medical guidance across healthcare and pharmaceutical client engagements. The role is responsible for ensuring scientific accuracy, medical integrity and regulatory awareness across a diverse portfolio of experiential, immersive, digital and AI-powered healthcare solutions.

Working closely with Client Services, Creative, Production, Technology and Executive Leadership teams, the Medical Director will support the development of innovative healthcare experiences, including virtual reality training, immersive educational platforms, AI-powered tools, interactive disease education, congress activations and scientific engagement programmes.

As a key member of the healthcare leadership team, the Medical Director will provide medical oversight, support Medical Legal Review (MLR) processes, advise on scientific strategy and serve as a trusted medical partner to both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Medical & Scientific Leadership

  • Serve as the primary medical and scientific advisor across healthcare and pharmaceutical accounts.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy and medical integrity across all client deliverables.
  • Provide strategic medical guidance throughout project development and delivery.
  • Interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical information to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Stay informed on emerging scientific developments, treatment landscapes and healthcare trends.

Medical Review & Compliance

  • Conduct medical reviews of healthcare content, experiences and communications.
  • Support client Medical Legal Review (MLR) and Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR/MMRC) submission processes.
  • Identify and mitigate medical and scientific risks during project development.
  • Ensure content is supported by appropriate evidence, references and approved source materials.
  • Advise teams on fair balance, claims substantiation and appropriate use of scientific data.
  • Support internal governance processes relating to healthcare and pharmaceutical projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
