Role Description
The Medical Doctor Intern role at Mednevo is a part-time remote position supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality, technology-enabled primary care. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reviewing AI-generated clinical outputs
- Validating triage suggestions
- Providing medical oversight to ensure accuracy and alignment with clinical guidelines
- Assisting in developing and refining clinical protocols
- Contributing to patient education content
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance AI decision-support features
- Participating in virtual case reviews
- Supporting quality assurance initiatives
- Offering feedback on user experience from a clinical perspective

This role is designed to build practical experience at the intersection of medicine and digital health while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- Clinical knowledge and training: Progress toward or completion of a medical degree (MD or equivalent), strong grounding in primary care or internal medicine, and familiarity with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
- Digital health and technology: Comfort working with telehealth platforms and AI-driven tools, basic understanding of clinical decision-support systems, and interest in innovation in healthcare delivery.
- Research and analytical skills: Ability to review clinical literature, evaluate data, and translate findings into clear, practical recommendations for protocols and patient education.
- Communication and collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain medical concepts in accessible language and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional and regulatory awareness: Commitment to patient confidentiality, ethical practice, and adherence to relevant clinical and data protection standards; attention to detail in reviewing clinical information.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in telemedicine or digital health
- Exposure to primary care or ambulatory settings
- Interest in preventive medicine, mental health, fitness, or nutrition
