Medical Education Fellow

The Medical Education Department at Buckinghamshire has a 6-month Fixed Term post available from February 2027 based across Stoke Mandeville & Wycombe Hospitals.

The Medical Education Fellow post is a unique and exciting opportunity which combines an educational role aimed at developing undergraduate and postgraduate education in Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) with a one day a week clinical role in a specialty within the trust.

It is a 6-month (usually non-training) fixed term post for prospective candidates who have at a minimum completed the Foundation Programme and would be suitable for candidates of any grade above FY2 up to pre-CCT. However, an earlier start date or extension to 12 months will be considered by mutual agreement.

Candidates must hold a full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice in the UK.

Interviews will be held online.

We anticipate this to be a popular post, therefore we encourage interested candidates to apply early. This advert may close earlier than the advertised closing date.

Duties Of The Education Fellow Post Holder

The main teaching duties of the post holder are to support the delivery of the BHT’s high-quality medical education including the development, delivery and evaluation of courses in undergraduate medical education (with students from University of Oxford Medical School, St George’s Medical School and University of Buckingham Medical School) and postgraduate medical education and related activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
