About the limbus

The limbus is an independent online platform providing the latest clinical news, expert insight, and medical education to healthcare specialists in the UK. Meeting the unique needs of our audience through high-quality, relevant content with unique insights is at the very heart of what we do. Driven by our continued growth in the UK market, we are expanding our team and looking for a Medical Education Manager.

What’s the role?

  • Leading the strategic delivery, planning, and execution of independent medical education programmes across webinars, podcasts, and in-person events.
  • Managing end-to-end project execution, including timelines, budgets, vendor contracts, venue bookings, and outcome reporting.
  • Identifying, approaching, and coordinating key opinion leaders (KOLs), faculty members, and professional societies.
  • Drafting high-quality medical writing, including scripts, promotional copy, grant proposals, and educational objectives grounded in adult learning principles.
  • Conducting educational needs assessments and analyzing outcomes data to generate insights for future initiatives.

Who are you?

You have:

  • A BSc in medical or related sciences.
  • Experience in project delivery for UK pharmaceutical companies or medical communication agencies.
  • A solid understanding of medical science, pharmaceutical marketing, and ABPI Code training.
  • Proven experience writing medical content and collaborating directly with KOLs and external faculty.
  • Strong project, time, and budget management skills with an awareness of adult learning principles.
  • A solution-oriented, flexible mindset with excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
