We are looking for an experienced and confident Medical Education Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of medical education at Frimley Park Hospital.
Working closely with the Strategic Lead for Medical and Dental Education and the wider Clinical Education team, you will oversee postgraduate and undergraduate medical education, resident doctor induction, Foundation Programme administration, study leave, educational governance, quality reporting, and the operation of the Postgraduate Education Centre. You will also provide leadership to the Medical Education and catering teams and manage key relationships with NHS England Workforce, Training and Education, universities, clinical faculty, and other partners.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee postgraduate and undergraduate medical education
- Manage resident doctor induction and Foundation Programme administration
- Handle study leave, trainer recognition, educational governance, quality reporting, and Local Education Board activity
- Manage the Postgraduate Education Centre, relevant budgets, income, and the Medical Education and catering teams
- Liaise regularly with NHS England Workforce, Training and Education, universities, clinical departments, resident doctors, medical students, and senior Trust colleagues

Requirements:
- Sound judgement and strong people-management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy healthcare setting
- Comfortable working with budgets, performance information, external reporting requirements, and sensitive staff or learner matters
- Previous medical education experience would be helpful, though applicants with strong NHS management experience and the ability to learn the specialist aspects of the role are also encouraged to apply
