Cardiovascular Medical Education Manager | Global Cardiology | Hybrid
You don't need to know how to write a grant. We'll teach you that.
What we can't teach is understanding a cardiologist; what they need, what convinces them, and what a device actually does.
We're looking for someone with real cardiovascular grounding; a cardiac nurse, physiologist, clinical scientist, or equivalent hands-on experience in cardiology or cardiovascular devices, to join the fastest-growing part of our client's Devices Business Unit. You'll sit exactly where clinical education meets commercial growth: building relationships directly with cardiologists and nurses, running educational webinars, and supporting the scientific backbone of the grant proposals that fund it all.
This isn't a desk-bound writing role. It's relationship-led, congress-heavy, and genuinely global; covering the full breadth of cardiology, from structural heart and electrophysiology to heart failure, interventional cardiology, vascular disease and cardiac imaging, with a book of business spanning the UK, Europe and the US.

What you'll actually do
- Build and hold direct relationships with doctors and nurses; understanding what education they need and where the gaps are
- Support, then help lead, the scientific case behind educational grant proposals; due diligence, risk management, keeping submissions error-free
- Run and grow the team's educational webinar programme
- Travel to major cardiovascular congresses as part of a small team (never solo)
- Progress from shadowing and immersion into building your own educational programmes and shaping commercial direction
How you'll be brought in
First three months: immersed and shadowing, learning how grants come together, backed by a strong track record and ready-made templates. By six months: building your own educational plans and starting to influence commercial direction. Ramp speed flexes around how deep your cardiovascular background already runs.

What you'll bring
- A genuine grounding in cardiovascular medicine, clinical background strongly preferred
- Comfort with medical devices and the acronym-heavy language around them
- A naturally proactive, relationship-first way of working
- Curiosity about where AI and new tools fit into grant and education work
- The confidence to get things wrong occasionally and learn fast
- A strong academic background
- Grant writing experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Life on the team
A close-knit, energetic team. Two days a week in the office, with real flexibility around the rest, especially as the US business grows. Congress travel is front-loaded in the calendar, with weekend days worked given back in lieu.
