About Us

Maulin Law is a new, specialist boutique law firm focused exclusively on defendant medical malpractice work for the private healthcare sector, including insurers, brokers, and independent hospital groups and private providers. Founded by market-leading lawyers from top-tier firms, we deliver technically excellent, partner-led advice with the agility and responsiveness our clients value.

As we grow, we’re looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Solicitor (minimum 4 years PQE) who shares our commitment to client service, commercial awareness, and high professional standards.

The Role

You will take on a varied and complex caseload of medical malpractice claims — acting for private hospitals, insurers, underwriters, MGAs, and healthcare practitioners. You’ll have the opportunity to influence the development of a new firm, work closely with partners, and be part of shaping a different way of delivering defendant healthcare law services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
