The Opportunity

The successful candidate will take responsibility for their own caseload and gain valuable experience working on complex and high-value claims. As part of an experienced Medical Negligence team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing your own caseload of medical negligence claims with appropriate support and supervision.
  • Assisting with complex and high-value matters.
  • Working closely with clients, medical experts, Counsel, and healthcare providers.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documentation.
  • Supporting claims through settlement negotiations and, where necessary, court proceedings.
  • Providing clients with clear, sensitive, and practical advice throughout their claim.
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and success of the department.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a Qualified Solicitor with up to 2 years PQE.
  • Have experience in Medical Negligence, Personal Injury, or Litigation, whether gained during a training contract or in a previous position.
  • Have excellent communication and client care skills.
  • Be well-organized, commercially aware, and attentive to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong drafting and case management capabilities.
  • Take a proactive and motivated approach to their work.
  • Be committed to providing an outstanding level of client service.
