Company Description

MY Sports Injury Clinic | Manchester Physiotherapy | Chiropractic is a specialist center focused on sports-related injuries in Manchester City Centre. The clinic is staffed by a highly skilled team of hands-on physical therapists who deliver evidence-based treatments. Services include sports physiotherapy, chiropractic care, exercise injury rehabilitation, acupuncture, and soft tissue release. The clinic also provides podiatry and comprehensive foot care services. Team members work in a collaborative environment dedicated to helping clients recover, perform, and stay active.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Office Receptionist role based in Manchester. The Medical Office Receptionist will be responsible for:

  • Greeting clients
  • Managing check-in and check-out processes
  • Maintaining a welcoming front desk environment

  • Coordinating patient flow with physiotherapists and chiropractors

The role involves:

  • Verifying patient information
  • Assisting with insurance-related questions
  • Processing payments
  • Maintaining accurate records

The receptionist will also handle general administrative duties such as:

  • Managing correspondence
  • Updating patient files
  • Supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth clinic operations

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in receptionist duties within a medical office setting, including front desk operations and patient-facing administrative tasks.
  • Strong phone etiquette skills, with the ability to handle high call volumes, provide clear information, and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Experience with appointment scheduling, including managing calendars, confirming bookings, and coordinating follow-up visits.
  • Knowledge of basic medical office procedures and insurance verification processes, including checking coverage and capturing accurate patient details.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with patients, clinicians, and colleagues.
  • Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including attention to detail, accurate data entry, and reliability in handling confidential information.
  • Comfort using clinic management or scheduling software and basic office tools (email, word processing, and spreadsheets).
  • Previous experience in a healthcare, physiotherapy, or chiropractic clinic is beneficial; relevant training or certification in medical administration is an advantage.
