Main Duties of the Job
- Assisting physiotherapists with a range of patients across the general medical wards.
- Taking a caseload of patients following prescribed exercises and mobility plans set up by the physiotherapist.
- Supporting the team with non-clinical admin tasks, including management of equipment, cleaning and computer tasks such as stats and audits.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSE or equivalent in numeracy and literacy
Desirable criteria
- CSP associate member.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working within a healthcare setting or involved in some form of customer care.
- Experience of the UK healthcare environment.
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience of working as a Physiotherapy assistant.
- Working with an electronic patient record or appointment system.
Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Good standard of written English.
- Be able to think logically/problem solve.
- Basic IT skills
- Interpersonal skills to include concise and effective verbal and written communication
- Organisational skills
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of some medical conditions.
