AARVA - New Private Practice in Sutton Coldfield
AARVA is a new doctor-led private practice opening in Sutton Coldfield. We bring together general practice, regenerative medicine, women's health, and medical-grade skin, built around a simple principle: understand the cause of a problem before treating its symptoms.
We are recruiting two part-time receptionists to share cover across our opening hours. This is a founding appointment. You will be one of the first people our patients meet, and you will help shape how the front of house works from day one.
Hours
We are open Monday to Saturday. Weekday hours are approximately 9.30am to 6pm, with one later evening each week, and Saturday mornings from approximately 10am to 2pm. Around 60 hours of cover a week is shared between the two roles, so there is flexibility in how the pattern is built around you. Final rotas will be agreed with the successful candidates.

What the Role Involves
- Managing the reception desk and greeting patients on arrival.
- Answering calls and enquiries, and following up new patient enquiries promptly and properly.
- Managing appointment bookings and clinician diaries.
- Handling payments and end-of-day reconciliation.
- General practice administration, including correspondence, records, and keeping the reception area in good order.
The role carries a genuine administrative element, particularly in the early months while the practice establishes itself.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a clinical or medical setting is preferred. That might be a private GP practice, a dental surgery, another aesthetic practice, a hospital outpatient department, or similar. It is not an absolute requirement, but you should be comfortable with the discretion, confidentiality, and pace that a healthcare environment asks for.
- Someone warm and unhurried with patients.
- Organised and accurate with a diary.
- Confident on the phone.
- Able to work through admin without needing to be chased.
- Familiarity with practice management or booking software is useful.

- This role is based on site in Sutton Coldfield.
