Medical Records Administrator (12 Month Contract)

Spire Nottingham Hospital | Tollerton | 12 month fixed term contract

Spire Nottingham Hospital is seeking an experienced Administrator to join our Medical Records team, where your attention to detail will help ensure outstanding patient care every day. This a full time role on a 12 month fixed term contract.

At Spire Healthcare, our patients are at the heart of everything we do—and behind every seamless patient journey is a dedicated team ensuring vital information is in the right place at the right time. As a Medical Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting safe, efficient care by managing and maintaining accurate medical records. Your work will directly impact patient experience, helping clinicians deliver the highest standards of treatment with confidence.

Spire Nottingham Hospital is a modern and well-equipped private hospital that provides high-quality medical services to patients. The hospital offers consultations with specialists who are experts in a wide range of treatments, including advanced imaging and diagnostic technology. The hospital is committed to providing exceptional care and support to its patients, ensuring that they feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their time at the hospital.

Please note that access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport links.

Duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you'll take responsibility for the preparation, tracking, and secure storage of medical records across outpatient, pre-assessment, and admissions clinics. You'll ensure records are organised, accurate, and accessible, responding promptly to requests while maintaining strict confidentiality in line with data protection requirements. From filing reports and correspondence to transporting records across departments, your attention to detail and organisation will be essential in a busy healthcare environment. This is a physically active role which involves regular movement around the hospital, handling large volumes of medical records, lifting and carrying files, and being on your feet for extended periods. Candidates should be comfortable undertaking these duties as part of their day-to-day responsibilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
