Join a leading, doctor-voted medical recruitment agency in the UK, specialising in providing locum, fixed-term, and permanent doctors across a range of grades and specialties. As an accredited supplier on all national supplier frameworks (including CCS, CPP, and HTE), we are a trusted provider of high-quality candidates to NHS Trusts, GP surgeries, and private healthcare providers.
The Opportunity
This is an exceptional and unique opportunity to establish yourself in a new recruitment role focusing exclusively on placing across all levels, from Junior Doctors to Consultant grade, within the UK healthcare sector.
Joining a highly experienced and established team, this role is a proactive, self-starting position designed for a persistent and dedicated individual. You will be operating in a tough, candidate-driven market, with the primary goal of building long-term relationships and a consistent candidate pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
- Headhunting and Outreach: Proactively source, identify, and engage across all grades (Junior, Middle Grade, Specialty Doctor, and Consultant) through various channels (database, job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, etc.).
- Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term, trusted relationships with potential candidates, understanding their career goals, motivations, and availability for contract work.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an organised, clean, and detailed candidate pipeline to ensure future vacancies are covered.

Screening and Interviewing
- Conduct screening to assess a candidate's suitability, experience, and compliance readiness against current vacancies and framework requirements.
- Present shortlisted, qualified candidates to the Recruitment Manager/Client.
Account & Vacancy Management
- Work proactively to fill dedicated vacancies within established NHS and private sector frameworks and contracts.
- Demonstrate persistence and attention to detail in matching the right candidate to the right role.
Compliance and Administration (Handover)
- Screen candidates against initial compliance criteria but pass all full compliance documentation to the dedicated Compliance Team to ensure adherence to all framework standards.
- Ensure all candidate records and activity are accurately logged and maintained in the CRM system.

Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Self-Starter/Self-Motivated: The ability to work independently, manage your own time, and drive activity without constant supervision.
- Persistence and Dedication: A resilient mindset, particularly for a tough, specialist sector where results take time to materialise.
- Must have recruitment healthcare experience temporary/ contract or permanent divisions.
- Evidence of achieving targets in a pressurised environment.
- Experience in Psychiatry is desirable, not essential.
- Must be able to travel to Skipton at least one day each week.
