Medical Sales Specialist

As a Medical Sales Specialist for this market leader in Radiotherapy medical devices, you’ll sell and support quality products and customers across your regional territory.

Role Overview

  • Consultative medical sales of radiotherapy patient positioning and immobilisation devices, alongside innovative SGRT (surface guided radiotherapy) and 3D bolus printing solutions.
  • Working closely with your Clinical Application Specialist colleagues, you’ll build strong relationships with both existing and new customers, ensuring product advice, demonstrations, and customer training.
  • Engaging with Radiotherapy departments including Service Managers, Therapy Radiographers, Dosimetrists, and Medical Physicists / Radiotherapy Physicists.

Responsibilities

  • Joining a supportive and collaborative commercial team, you’ll take responsibility for a territory to be defined based on your location, covering 40% of UK sites.
  • Typically spending 3 days per week visiting customers, 2 days working from home, and averaging one overnight stay per week, with the flexibility to manage your diary and travel.

Requirements

  • Radiotherapy experience in a medical sales role, as an application specialist, clinical or technical role. A Therapeutic Radiographer / Therapy Radiographer, Dosimetrist, Clinical Technologist* or Clinical Scientist* (*Radiotherapy specialism required) or similar, with a keen interest in a medical sales career is encouraged to apply.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, a can-do mentality, self-motivated, confident, organised, passionate to become a product expert, and able to motivate and energise others.
  • Willing and able to travel across 40% of the UK with a full and valid driving licence. Ideally with good transport links e.g. London, Crawley, Bristol, Birmingham, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Stoke, etc. Other UK locations will be considered.

Package

  • Salary guide: £45-52,500 (depending on experience) plus generous bonus (details on application), company car or cash allowance, and benefits. Product and medical sales training is provided.
