Medical Science Liaison (Neuroscience)
Location: Midlands Territory (60% – 70% field based, remaining time remote)
Contract: 12 Months Initial Contract
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Rate: Equivalent to £55,000 to £75,000 per annum (depending on experience)
SRG are recruiting for an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support a leading global biopharmaceutical organisation within their Neuroscience portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a scientifically driven professional to act as a trusted medical partner to healthcare professionals, researchers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) across the Midlands region.
Working within Medical Affairs, you will be responsible for facilitating high-quality scientific exchange, building strong relationships with external experts, and supporting research and educational initiatives in a strictly non-promotional and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, and key opinion leaders across the Midlands territory.
- Communicate complex scientific and clinical information in a clear, balanced, and non-promotional manner tailored to the needs of different stakeholders.
- Serve as a key scientific resource, responding to medical and scientific enquiries and facilitating meaningful scientific dialogue.
- Support investigator-initiated studies, clinical research projects, post-marketing studies, and other Medical Affairs initiatives.
- Gather and communicate medical insights from the field to inform internal strategy and future medical activities.
- Deliver scientific presentations and educational sessions to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
- Attend relevant scientific congresses, conferences, and professional meetings.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Market Access, Health Economics, and Commercial functions.

- Advanced degree in a life sciences discipline such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, or a related scientific field preferred.
- Candidates with a relevant undergraduate degree and strong Medical Affairs experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience within a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or similar scientific field-based role.
- Neuroscience experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs function.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex scientific information for a range of audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain credibility with healthcare professionals and external experts.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
- Must be based within the Midlands region or willing to relocate.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
