About the Role
Amplity is partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical company to recruit an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support Medical Affairs activities across Eastern Europe and the United Kingdom.
This field-based role offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts in Myelofibrosis (MF) and Leukemia (AML), support clinical development activities, and contribute to advancing innovative treatments in hemato-oncology.
As a member of a highly collaborative Medical Affairs team, you will serve as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, investigators, and key opinion leaders, while generating valuable insights to help shape medical strategy and support clinical trial execution.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced MSL or field medical professional who enjoys scientific exchange, cross-country collaboration, and working within a dynamic international environment.

Purpose of Role
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a member of a field-based team of medical scientists with established personal and scientific credibility who functions as an extension of the Medical Affairs organization. The primary role of the MSL is to provide fair, balanced, objective scientific information and education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and internal stakeholders, in line with scientific and business needs.
The MSL is responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of the hemato-oncology treatment landscape and for building strong scientific relationships with healthcare professionals and medical thought leaders involved in multiple phases of product development.
A strong background in Myelofibrosis (MF) and/or Leukemia (AML) is highly preferred. The successful candidate will engage with key stakeholders across multiple European countries, drive scientific exchange, gather strategic insights, and support clinical trial progression.

Key Accountabilities

Opinion Leader Engagement
- Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare stakeholders.
- Provide advanced scientific and medical support to KOLs and academic centers.
- Engage healthcare professionals, investigators, and thought leaders in scientific exchange focused on disease state, treatment landscape, and emerging data.
- Act as a primary liaison for investigators interested in participating in clinical trials and investigator-sponsored research.
- Represent the organization at scientific congresses, professional society meetings, and other relevant medical events.
- Deliver scientific presentations and respond appropriately to unsolicited scientific inquiries.

Scientific Expertise
- Develop and maintain deep expertise within hemato-oncology, particularly Myelofibrosis and Leukemia.
- Build a strong understanding of regional treatment paradigms, healthcare systems, and stakeholder networks.
- Execute territory plans aligned with regional Medical Affairs objectives.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, new clinical data, and emerging scientific developments.

Clinical Trial Support
- Gather and communicate field insights that support clinical and medical strategies.
- Support investigator-sponsored studies where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to identify suitable clinical trial sites and support patient recruitment efforts.
- Maintain strong relationships with investigators participating in ongoing company-sponsored clinical trials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support scientific activities at congresses, advisory boards, and medical education programs.
- Share competitive intelligence and healthcare market insights with internal stakeholders.
- Provide scientific education in response to unsolicited medical inquiries.
- Support execution of Medical Affairs projects, training initiatives, and scientific programs.
- Contribute to a collaborative culture through knowledge sharing and peer support.

Compliance
- Operate in a highly ethical manner while complying with all laws, regulations, industry codes, and company policies.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with local and international compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of field activities.
- Complete all required training and compliance activities within established timelines.

Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, MSc, or equivalent).
- Previous Medical Affairs experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Previous MSL experience.
- Experience in Hemato-Oncology.
- Experience presenting complex scientific and clinical information to healthcare professionals.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clinical trial recruitment and investigator engagement.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
- Fluency in at least one local language (Polish, Czech, Hungarian, or English for UK-based candidates).
- Ability to travel extensively across Europe.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in Myelofibrosis (MF).
- Experience in Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) or other Leukemia indications.
- Experience as an international or regional MSL supporting multiple countries.
- Experience engaging with hematology investigators and academic centers.
