The Medical & Scientific Manager

The Medical & Scientific Manager will be the local Medical Affairs and scientific reference for the UK, with a strong focus on medical imaging, including MRI and X-ray-based imaging. This field-based role combines core Medical Affairs responsibilities with broader scientific leadership. You will build trusted relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals, generate meaningful local medical insights, support scientific engagement around our products, and contribute to the development and execution of local Medical Affairs strategy.

We are looking for a proactive, autonomous and scientifically credible professional who is comfortable operating in the field, developing scientific networks and bringing the voice of the UK medical community into the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with KOLs, radiologists, radiographers, physicists, researchers and other healthcare professionals.
• Act as the local Medical Affairs and scientific expert for medical imaging, particularly MRI and X-ray-based imaging.
• Conduct high-quality scientific exchange based on clinical evidence, approved product information and applicable compliance requirements.
• Identify and develop relationships with established and emerging KOLs, scientific leaders and centres of excellence.
• Gather, analyse and communicate actionable insights on clinical practice, unmet medical needs, scientific trends and evolving standards of care.
• Maintain strong knowledge of relevant scientific literature, guidelines, technologies, the company’s product portfolio and the wider imaging environment.
• Support scientific activities including advisory boards, expert meetings, congresses, educational programmes and scientific presentations.
• Provide appropriate scientific and medical support for product-related questions and scientific materials.
• Work in close partnership with Commercial, providing medical and scientific expertise while maintaining the independence and integrity of Medical Affairs.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Medical Affairs, Medical Information, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Research, Marketing, R&D and other cross-functional teams.
• Ensure a strong two-way flow of medical and scientific information between the UK field environment and the broader organisation.
