Your New Company

You will be joining a busy healthcare organisation based in the south-west of Glasgow, known for delivering high-quality services and patient care. Due to increased demand, they are looking to recruit an experienced Medical Secretary to support their clinical and administrative teams on a temporary basis.

Your New Role

This is a full-time, office-based position working 5 days per week. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to consultants and clinical teams. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing appointments and referrals
  • Typing clinical correspondence
  • Handling enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the department

What You'll Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience within a Medical Secretary or healthcare administration position
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage a busy workload effectively

Experience working with confidential information and using Microsoft Office packages is essential, while knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous.
