Medical Secretary | Private Practice | Birmingham | Full-time, on-site
Medmin provides total practice management for consultant doctors in private practice. We look after PA support, diary management, billing, compliance and patient communications, so our consultants can focus on their patients. We work with over 100 consultants, and our secretaries are the people who make that work day to day.

What you'll do
- Support consultants with day-to-day administration, including diary management and appointments
- Prepare letters and documents accurately and professionally
- Be the first point of contact for patients, hospitals, GPs and insurers, by phone and email
- Support billing and fee processes
- Keep records accurate, confidential and compliant
- Work with colleagues to keep cover seamless across the team
What you'll bring
Essential
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally as a medical secretary or PA
- Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Teams
- Excellent customer care and a calm, empathetic manner with patients
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities
- Confidentiality

Desirable
- Experience in healthcare or private practice
- Knowledge of medical terminology
