Job Opportunity: Experienced Medical Secretary in Cardiology
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced medical secretary to join our team within the Cardiology department.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside the existing administrative team to provide comprehensive and efficient secretarial support.
- Demonstrate good communication skills, flexibility, reliability, and an organised approach to work.
- Support with the management of waiting lists, typing of clinical letters, theatre scheduling, clinic utilisation, along with daily office duties as required by the clinical team.
- Skills in all areas of administrative functions to support the patient pathway.
Key Qualities
- Highly motivated and flexible team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise your own workload.
- High standards and an eye for detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a busy, ever-changing environment.

Location
The post will be based at Royal Stoke University Hospital but may require cross-site working and there may be a need for the post holder to travel between Royal Stoke University Hospital (Stoke-on-Trent) and the County Hospital (Stafford) sites.
