Medical Secretary – Manchester Area

Hours: 40 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, office hours

Location: Manchester Area

We are looking for a highly organised and professional Medical Secretary with excellent minute-taking skills to support our team of doctors. This is a varied role involving Ward Rounds, CPA Meetings, and general clinical administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately minute Ward Rounds and CPA Meetings
  • Produce clear, professional, and detailed meeting minutes
  • Provide general administrative support to doctors
  • Prepare and organise clinical documentation
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent minute-taking skills – essential
  • Is highly organised and reliable
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is confident handling confidential information
  • Can remain professional when dealing with sensitive or distressing content
  • Is comfortable working within a clinical environment

Please note: Some meetings may involve highly sensitive and graphic information, including details of patients' index offences and clinical histories. You must be comfortable working with this type of information.

Working Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, generally between 8:00am and 4:30pm.
