Medical Staffing Administrative Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Staffing Administrative Assistant within the Surgical Division.

The role will support the Medical Staffing Administrators in the monitoring and management of the planned activities for all medical staff within the Business Unit / Division.

They will assist with the management of the rotas and implementation of Medirota, changeovers and inductions of junior staff to ensure efficient and effective organisation and delivery of all aspects of operational medical staffing issues for the Business Unit / Division.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and receive routine information requiring tact or persuasive skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict Trust deadlines.
  • Daily concentration required for data handling.
  • Answers queries throughout the working day.
  • Assistance with the implementation and management of Medirota.
