Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Gastroenterology secretarial department. The successful candidate will be required to support the Medical Secretarial Team in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service, outline new and efficient processes and inpatient and outpatient waiting list management for our specialty, in accordance with the Patient Access Policy. You will be required to:
- Communicate appointments and admission-related information to patients and carers
- Answer queries both verbally and in writing
- Type correspondence within performance targets as appropriate
- Support in the delivery of local and national NHS targets
- Assist with the management and utilization of clinics within your area
