Role Description
This full-time, on-site Medical Writer role is based in London. The Medical Writer will create clear, accurate, and engaging scientific and medical content for digital platforms and medical communications campaigns, including articles, summaries, slide decks, and educational materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting clinical data, conducting literature research, and ensuring all content aligns with current evidence, guidelines, and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating closely with medical, editorial, and client-facing teams to plan projects, refine messaging, and adapt content for different audiences and formats. The Medical Writer will also support quality control processes, including fact-checking, editing, and updating existing materials to maintain clinical relevance and accuracy.

- Strong Scientific Writing and Medical Writing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, accessible content.
- Experience in Medical Communications, including development of materials for healthcare professionals and industry clients.
- Proficiency in Writing and Research, particularly literature review, data interpretation, and evidence synthesis.
- Degree in a life science, medicine, pharmacy, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD) is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, including adherence to style, referencing, and ethical standards.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines on-site in London.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams and with clients.
- Familiarity with clinical guidelines, peer-reviewed literature, and basic principles of medical education or digital healthcare platforms is beneficial.
