Care Outlook is looking for a Medication Administrator to join our Oxford team.
This is an office-based administration role, not a hands-on care role. You will look after the day-to-day running of our electronic medication records (eMAR), keep them accurate and up to date, and be the point of contact in the branch for anything medication-related.
What you will be doing:
- Making amendments to eMARs and actioning medication change requests
- Daily, weekly, and monthly eMAR audits
- Taking medication-related calls and dealing with queries from care staff, clients, and families
- Ordering medications, catheter, and stoma supplies
- Liaising with GP surgeries, pharmacies, district nurses, and other health professionals
- Flagging medication errors and concerns to the branch manager and following up with the care staff involved
- Keeping clear records of audits, changes, and outcomes
- General branch administration when needed

What we are looking for:
- Confident using a computer. Most of the day is spent on a system, on email, and on the phone
- Organised, with a real eye for detail. Small mistakes in medication records matter
- Clear communicator on the phone and in writing
- Able to work on your own and pick things up quickly
- Experience of medication records or an electronic medication system is useful but not essential; full training is given
- Care sector experience is welcome but not required
- No driving needed, but you do need to be able to travel to our branch office
