Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Meeting and Events Sales Coordinator role based in Telford. The coordinator will handle incoming meeting and event inquiries, prepare tailored proposals, and manage bookings from initial contact through post-event follow-up. Daily tasks include:

- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements
- Coordinating with operations, catering, and front office teams
- Ensuring accurate event details in the reservation and sales systems
- Preparing contracts
- Tracking deadlines and payments
- Updating function sheets
- Supporting the delivery of seamless events that meet guest expectations and brand standards

The coordinator will also assist with sales administration, reporting, and supporting promotional activities to drive meeting and event revenue.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with experience handling client inquiries and building long-term relationships.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, including managing multiple bookings, timelines, and documentation accurately.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to coordinate information clearly between clients and internal teams.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, documents) and the ability to learn hotel reservation or sales systems.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to anticipate needs and address issues before and during events.
- Ability to work on-site in Telford, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain a professional, guest-focused approach.
- Prior experience in hospitality, events, or meetings coordination is beneficial; hotel sales or conference and banqueting experience is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in hospitality, events management, or business is preferred but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
