Job Description

Are you a driven hospitality professional with a passion for events, sales and creating exceptional guest experiences?

We're looking for a Meetings, Events & Groups Manager to lead and grow our Meetings, Events and Groups business across Novotel & ibis London Blackfriars. This is a dual-property role where you'll manage the diverse client base of both hotels, driving new business, maintaining relationships with repeat clients, maximising profitability and ensuring each brand is positioned as the venue of choice for meetings, events and group stays.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving meetings, events and group revenue across both hotels
  • Winning new business while growing existing accounts and repeat bookings
  • Managing and developing client relationships across both hotels
  • Converting enquiries into confirmed business and maximising profitability
  • Leading, coaching and developing the Meetings & Events team
  • Working closely with operational teams to deliver seamless and memorable events
  • Identifying market opportunities and increasing share within the local and Accor network

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in Meetings & Events, Hotel Sales or Event Management
  • Strong commercial awareness and revenue management knowledge
  • Proven success in driving revenue and developing client relationships
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organisation skills
  • Experience with Opera Cloud or similar hotel systems
