AG Hotels Group is an expanding hotel group with 21 hotels across the UK catering to business and leisure travellers, offering exceptional service. We are seeking a proactive and experienced MICE Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will drive our sales strategy and contribute to the growth and success of our hotel based in Handforth - Best Western Plus Pinewood Wilmslow Hotel.
Sales Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Handle sales enquiries from corporate clients, travel agents, event organisers, and other business partners.
- Support hotel operations during busy periods and assist with operational requirements when required.
- Prepare and present professional sales proposals, quotations, and event packages.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, terms, and event packages in line with company objectives.
- Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Conduct site inspections, venue tours, and client visits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, enquiries, and sales activities within the CRM system.

Meetings & Events Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, weddings, private functions, and other events from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Understand client requirements and develop customised event plans and packages.
- Liaise closely with internal departments, including Operations, Banqueting, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Finance, to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Prepare event orders, function sheets, rooming/event schedules, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure all event arrangements are delivered accurately and in line with client expectations.
- Monitor event setup, execution, and post-event breakdown to ensure quality and service standards are maintained.
- Handle client requests, amendments, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Conduct post-event follow-ups, maintain client relationships, and gather feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and repeat business.
Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Prepare regular sales reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and event revenue reports.
- Monitor event budgets, revenue, costs, and overall profitability.
- Maintain accurate contracts, booking records, event documentation, and client files.
- Track deposits, payments, outstanding balances, and coordinate with Finance where required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and local business opportunities to identify potential revenue growth.
- Ensure all sales and event administration is completed accurately and within required deadlines.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/Event Management systems.
- Previous experience in hotel sales, meetings & events, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing commercial role is preferred.
