The Role Outline: Your Shift at a Glance
As our Sales Office Team Leader, you are the commercial driving force behind our entire events programme. You will lead, mentor, and motivate a dedicated sales team to actively hunt down new business, coordinate flawless private and corporate events, and ensure our local outreach actually converts into revenue.
Why Village?
At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers. Previous experience is great, but your attitude and energy matter much more to us. If you are friendly, positive, love working with people, and enjoy being part of a busy team, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need. Because it really does take a Village.
How the Village Thrives
We live our culture through four simple commitments:
- We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work everyday, with purpose.
- We Will: Treat each other with respect and dignity. No ego, no drama. We try our best and look out for each other.
- We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

- The Event Execution: Acting as the ultimate safety net for event coordination. You will ensure your team flawlessly manages payments, menus, and special requests so the operational team on the floor can deliver exactly what was promised.
- The Local Buzz: Championing in-house promotions. You will manage lobby hosting, engage with leisure club members, and leverage social media to ensure our events are the loudest in the local area.
How We Succeed Together
