Crowne Plaza Glasgow

We are looking for a Meetings and Events Agent to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in managing event bookings, maximising revenue, and providing outstanding guest service.

You will often be the first point of contact with our guests - taking them from first enquiry through to contracting. You will need to be comfortable engaging with guests on the phone, via email, and face to face in the hotel.

We offer Meetings and Events in all shapes and sizes - from 2 to 100 guests, business meetings through to weddings and private events.

This role is predominantly office-based in the hotel, working Monday to Friday, mainly dealing with direct enquiries. Although, in time, there will be the option to expand into direct sales calls as the business needs.

If you are looking for career training, we offer nationally recognized apprenticeships which sit alongside our detailed brand development.

What'll make you a great fit for us?

  • Your passionate about delivering exceptional service and understand how your role contributes to memorable guest experiences. You will take pride in your work, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard.
  • You're methodical, proactive, and results-driven, always striving for excellence in everything you do. Whether handling event enquiries, managing bookings, or assisting clients, you bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
