Meetings and Events Floor Manager - Park Plaza Riverbank

Join us as a Meetings & Events Floor Manager and be at the heart of every successful event, leading teams to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable experiences at Park Plaza.

Key Responsibilities As Our Meetings & Events Floor Manager

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of meetings, conferences and banqueting events, ensuring the highest standards of service, efficiency and professionalism.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events, responding promptly to requests and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
  • Manage and coordinate agency, casual and permanent team members, allocating resources effectively to support successful event delivery.
  • Work closely with Sales, Planning, Kitchen and operational teams to ensure all event requirements are delivered seamlessly.
  • Conduct team briefings, support training and development, and ensure all team members are knowledgeable on departmental procedures and hotel emergency plans.
  • Support the control of operational costs, including payroll, food and beverage costs and wastage, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve service standards and efficiency.

About You:

We are looking for a passionate Meetings & Events Floor Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences and will:

  • Have previous experience as a Meetings & Events Floor Manager, ideally within a busy hotel environment delivering large-scale conferences, banqueting and events.
  • Have a positive, guest-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Have a good command of English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients, guests and colleagues at all levels.
  • Be a natural leader who builds strong relationships, motivates and develops teams, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in delivering operational excellence.
