We are recruiting for a Meetings and Events Manager to join our Meetings and Events Operations Team at The May Fair Hotel. As Meeting and Events Manager, you will play a key leadership role within our Meetings and Events team, ensuring every service runs seamlessly and every guest receives the elevated experience expected of a leading London luxury hotel.

Overview

  • Lead day-to-day operation of meetings and events, ensuring every event is delivered to an exceptional standard.
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and bring each event to life.
  • Ensure event spaces are prepared and presented beautifully, with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Coordinate closely with our Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Sales and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, anticipating their needs and responding quickly to any changes or requests.
  • Take ownership of guest and client feedback, resolving any issues professionally and effectively.
  • Ensure the highest standards of health and safety, food safety and operational compliance are maintained.
  • Be a visible presence during events, supporting the team and ensuring our guests receive a truly memorable experience.

About You

  • Has previous management experience within meetings and events, banqueting or food and beverage, ideally within a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment.
  • Is an inspiring leader who enjoys developing and bringing out the best in their team.
  • Has exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Is confident managing multiple events and priorities in a busy environment.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Is calm, organised and solutions-focused, particularly when plans change.
  • Is flexible and comfortable working across a range of shifts to support the needs of our events operation.
