A Bit About What You Will Do

The M&E Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring that all contracted meetings and events are planned and managed in a timely and efficient manner, in line with the department's operational and commercial objectives. The role oversees the end-to-end planning process, producing comprehensive and accurate event orders through effective collaboration with clients and hotel operational teams to ensure seamless event delivery and an exceptional customer experience.

The M&E Planning Manager plays a key role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients, identifying opportunities to secure future business and, where appropriate, directly contracting or converting repeat enquiries.

In addition, the role provides leadership and support across the Sales and Events function, including overseeing the sales enquiry process in the absence of the Sales Team Manager and supporting the Director of Sales and Events in achieving departmental goals, driving revenue growth, and maintaining high service standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
