Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

However, these are not essential — if you have other skills, knowledge or experience that could strengthen our Board, we would still very much like to hear from you.

What We Offer

And it is very much a two-way opportunity.

If you haven't worked in the charity sector before, becoming a trustee offers valuable first-hand experience of how a non-profit organisation operates: governance, strategic decision-making, financial oversight and the particular challenges that charities face.

You'll be able to contribute your existing professional skills while developing your own experience at Board level. Previous trustee experience isn't necessary. What matters most is that you're willing to get involved, contribute and learn alongside us.

Role Details

This is a voluntary role. Our Board meets quarterly, with three meetings normally held remotely and one in person at our main office in Bradford.

If you'd like to contribute to a charity that has been supporting families for more than three decades — while adding something worthwhile to your own professional experience — I'd really like to hear from you.
