Job Description
The Role
This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in membership administration and event support within a leading UK trade association operating in a professional consulting and technology environment. The intern will support the smooth running of member engagement activities, communications and events. The role is well suited to someone at the early stage of their career who is organised, proactive and keen to develop hands-on skills across digital tools, stakeholder support and event delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update member records in the CRM (HubSpot), including data clean-up.
- Support day-to-day membership administration, including member onboarding and renewals.
- Light touch assistance with website updates.
- Create social media graphics and marketing materials using Canva.
- Support member and event communications through HubSpot, including the monthly conference newsletter.
- Assist with event administration and planning.
- Provide on-site support at the Conference & Awards in Birmingham on 16-17 March 2027
Contract Details
- 6 months Fixed Term Contract, starting 1st September 2026

Qualifications
Requirements
- Studying towards, or recently completed, a relevant qualification in marketing, communications, business, events, administration or a related discipline.
- Some experience gained through education, volunteering, part-time work or internships in an administrative, customer-facing, marketing or events-related role.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, with an interest in developing skills in digital platforms such as CRM systems, website content tools and Canva.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate and professional content.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and willingness to learn in a busy team environment.
- Upon employment, employees should also have a sound awareness of the Company's Information, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management Systems.
