Membership Services Assistant

Part-Time Temporary Contract until April 2027
Remote Working
28 hours per week (Monday to Thursday)
£25,619 FTE (pro rata)
Start date w/c 19th October

Membership Bespoke is delighted to be supporting a professional membership organisation with the recruitment of a Membership Services Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused administrator to join a collaborative team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional membership experience. The successful candidate will support membership operations, member engagement activities, customer service enquiries and administrative processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for member enquiries via email, phone and online channels.
  • Support the administration of the membership lifecycle, including applications, renewals, upgrades and cancellations.
  • Maintain accurate member records and ensure data quality within the CRM system.
  • Process membership payments, invoices and related financial administration.
  • Assist with member communications, campaigns and engagement activities.
  • Provide administrative support for events, webinars and member services.
  • Produce reports and data extracts to support membership activities.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at improving member satisfaction, retention and growth.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or membership support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Experience using CRM or database systems.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive, positive and solution-focused approach.
