Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed the revenue targets for sales of new memberships, member renewals, and support the sale of TM Forum services and programmes, including training, coaching, tools, conformance, and certifications.
  • Primary focus on Eastern European markets, with select account responsibilities extending beyond the region. Support the Global Research & Media Sales Team to unlock opportunities in existing and wider European accounts.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Manage member renewals and engagement across named accounts. Maintain accurate Salesforce records and reporting to support effective pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Broaden and deepen relationships with existing members through effective communication, face-to-face meetings, calls, and targeted use of marketing collateral.
  • Raise the profile of TM Forum through active participation in relevant industry conferences and events.
  • Work closely with regional teams, Engagement Managers, and colleagues to share best practices, support account development, and deliver consistent member experiences.
  • Work closely with our Program Management, Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to ensure the voice of the members is clearly understood and reflected in our value propositions, marketing positioning, and collateral.
  • Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive opportunity records, ensuring the organisation can effectively forecast revenue volume and timing.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the telecommunications and technology landscape, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging challenges to become a trusted advisor to members and identify new opportunities for TM Forum.

Experience and Requirements

  • Working experience in the telecoms industry is essential.
  • Previous account management and sales experience is essential, with the ability to build trusted relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Familiarity with the digital economy is advantageous. Experience in Eastern European markets and the wider telecommunications ecosystem would be beneficial.
  • Results-oriented, highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a strong focus on outcomes.
  • A customer-focused individual who can understand member needs and develop appropriate solutions that deliver value.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate effectively across different countries, cultures, and time zones.
  • Excellent digital and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to work confidently with CRM, reporting and business support systems.
  • Experience of structured sales processes, with working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms and other business intelligence platforms being advantageous.
  • Self-disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing as part of a close-knit and highly collaborative team.
  • Curious, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in the telecommunications industry, TM Forum's frameworks and programmes, and the challenges facing our members. The successful candidate will be willing to invest time in building this knowledge and expertise.
  • Comfortable working within a small, geographically distributed European team. Success in the role requires proactive collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues across different markets and areas of expertise.
